30 Day Return Policy: Mail Order
General Terms
Before returning any item, the customer must call or e-mail Adirondack Video Astronomy to receive a return authorization number. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number.
To receive full credit minus any shipping or handling fees, goods must be returned to Adirondack Video Astronomy, 72 Harrison Ave., Hudson Falls, New York 12839 within 30 days of purchase.
The returned goods must be complete and in NEW condition with all original packaging material. If anything is missing, damaged, or item(s) show wear due to use a restocking fee may apply. This assessment of a minimum 15% restocking fee on all returns will be at the sole discretion of Adirondack Video Astronomy.
Also, is it up to the customer to make sure that when returning items that they are packed properly so as to prevent damage in transit back to Adirondack Video Astronomy. Any damage that occurs due to careless packaging will result in a decrease or loss of refund to the customer. Also, items that are returned to Adirondack Video Astronomy but not insured and subsequently damaged will result in a loss to the customer.
Under no circumstances we will refund any shipping or handling charges including; but not limited to drop ship fees, carriage fees, and insurance fees.
The customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance fees associated with the return of any item to Adirondack Video Astronomy unless otherwise specified by Adirondack Video Astronomy.
Optical Goods, CCD Cameras, and Electronics includes items, but not limited to; CCD Cameras, telescopes, eyepieces and any other product containing optics or electronics.
Again, as stated above Adirondack Video Astronomy must be contacted prior to the return of such items.

If anything is missing, damaged, or item(s) show wear due to use a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply. If you receive any items and feel that they may be defective, please contact Adirondack Video Astronomy directly. At our discretion we may be able to ship a replacement or there may be a manufacturer's warranty that may apply to remedy the situation.

With our expertise, we will make every reasonable effort to give you the full details and assistance in selecting a telescope or other product. We will have in store floor models that we can demonstrate for you. We just ask that you seriously consider your purchase. We also offer after sales help in terms of answering any questions you may have about your new purchase.
All returned retail or in store purchases will be assessed a 10% restocking fee. No refunds will be issued; all credits are for in store credit only. All returns must be made within 30 days.

Warranty Issues
The manufacturers we represent have their own warranty policies. The warranty policies are in effect from the date of customer purchase.
For individual warranty policies please consult your product manual, our information library or contact the manufacturer directly. All warranty policies are subject to change at the discretion of the manufacturer.
If it is determined by Adirondack Video Astronomy that the customer's inquiry is a warranty issue and would best be resolved by direct contact with the manufacturer to resolve the warranty issue, then Adirondack Video Astronomy will direct the customer to the manufacturer or a representative of the manufacturer.
Cancellations
Please attempt to cancel your order as soon as possible. We work diligently to get all of our orders out as quickly as possible so you may have little time to cancel before your order ships. You will receive an e-mail once your order has been cancelled.
Express Service Order Fees and handling fees are Not Refundable!
Once your order has been shipped, it is no longer possible for us to cancel it. Your option then is to request a Return authorization number and abide by the return policy as described above.
DO NOT REFUSE THE DELIVERY OF AN UNWANTED PACKAGE!! This may delay or decrease the amount of your refund.
Damaged Delivery
Please try to inspect your merchandise before you sign for it. We make every effort to prevent damage in transit to you. In the rare event that this may occur please keep the original shipping box and immediately contact the carrier i.e. UPS, FEDEX for damage report. Also, please contact us at Adirondack Video Astronomy to let us know what has occurred.
Refusal of Service
Adirondack Video Astronomy reserves the right to refuse the service of any customer at our discretion. We also reserve the right to request certain payment options to complete order processing due to the large amount of internet fraud and other liabilities.
